Friday of Easter Octave – LOVE mornings!

For His love has no end

Whenever it’s a beautiful blue sky in the morning and quite bright (not necessarily ultra sunny) I always seem to feel this spark of joy within me! Super love.

I believe it is a constant reminder of experiencing His presence before. Perhaps it also relates to the happiness felt in the mornings of various retreats when there was just literally freedom of time and space and many moments to just bask in the presence of God.

And this morning I was even tired whilst walking Aspen after not sleeping early. But I only felt the spark after coffee haha.

I have also realised how I love the early morning air (when it is not yet bright n sunny n blue) whilst walking Aspen with FIL away on the Patagonia pilgrimage.

So in conjunction with my daily reading of the Word this line above caught me as the psalmist would sing.

From today’s Psalm 117(118):1-2,4,22-27The stone which the builders rejected has become the corner stone.

Give thanks to the Lord for he is good,

for his love has no end.

All glory and praises this 6th day of Easter! One which has given me a visual message of reality this year, needed to reset me after a rather shameful unintentional Lent period.

The reality that I was given a sign when I know intellectually we are not meant to be reliant on them, said by Jesus himself.

This, I will take, into deeper reflection.
